Privacy Policy — BYGO Live

BYGO Live helps businesses share live availability. This policy explains what we collect and why. Full detail also lives in the project privacy document; this page is the public web version for App Store / Play Store listings.

Account

• Email/password and/or Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication (name, email, user ID as provided).
• We do not receive your Google password. Email passwords are hashed by Firebase.

Data we collect

• Business profile: business name, category, contact links, optional address/Maps URL, logos.
• Services: names, types, availability, notes, schedules, logos, optional staff email invites.
• Notify-me: contact details customers voluntarily submit.
• Usage: page view counters; optional service history.
• Push tokens: FCM device token if notifications are allowed.
• Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics (device/OS/app version, stack traces; may include Firebase user ID).
• Premium: purchase confirmation from Apple/Google to unlock ad-free use (we do not get your card number).
• Ads: AdMob (app) / AdSense (web) may use device IDs and similar data when ads are shown.

We do not use device GPS. Maps links are optional URLs you paste.

How we use data

To run the app, show public availability pages, let owners and staff update status, operate wait lists, send optional push alerts, diagnose crashes, process Premium, show ads when not Premium, and support the product.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Public fields you publish are visible to anyone with the link. Data is processed by Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Hosting, Messaging, Crashlytics, Functions), Google Sign-In, AdMob/AdSense, and Apple/Google Play for purchases.

Your choices

• Edit or delete profile fields, services, logos, wait-list entries, and staff invites in the app.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. After verified deletion requests we remove associated data within a reasonable period (often within about 7 days; backups/logs may take longer, typically up to 30–90 days), except where law requires retention.
